v1.3 November 2023
- We added a new and continuously improving help center that provides valuable information and lets you submit a ticket right from the app if you need additional support.
- [iOS Only] Long press a notification to see a nearby map of the incident. Priority alerts are now sent as time-sensitive notifications, allowing you to avoid distractions without worrying about missing important safety-impacting information.
- [iOS Only] Clicking a LAIT911 incident link will now open directly in the app instead of the web browser when on your mobile device.
- [Android Only] You now see your current location on the global incident map, symbolized by a blue navigation dot. See where you are right away to quickly find incidents near you.
- [Android Only] Dark Mode.
- Users now have the ability to log in with their email address or their username.
- We made our incident filter settings more meaningful, allowing you to easily select the desired distance from your location and the age of the incident.
- Better email address and username validation to prevent user frustration during login and signup.
- Incidents can now be linked together for when multiple agencies are responding to the same location.
- Some quick bug fixes that included:
- [Android Only] Some users were unable to create an account
- Users were able to enable zip code alerts without having a zip code on their profile
- [iOS Only] The app would freeze or crash when clicking multiple external links.
- Additional misc bugs, performance and aesthetic fixes all resulting in a better user experience.
